Privacy policy

Ladder Group collects and uses personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.

What we collect

• Name, email address, mobile number and delivery address, so that we can fulfil your order
• Order history and correspondence with customer care
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser type — for security and fraud prevention

What we do not collect

We never receive your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials. Those go directly to Razorpay, our payment processor, and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Why we process it

To take payment, deliver your order, handle returns and respond to complaints; to meet our obligations under tax, consumer protection and legal metrology law; and, where you have opted in, to send occasional marketing messages.

Who we share it with

Only with parties who need it to complete your order: our payment processor and our courier partner. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are retained for 8 years, as required by Indian tax law. Marketing consent is retained until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Write to care@alankia.com and we will respond within 30 days.
